About Me

I have had quite a varied art career. I have been an elementary school art teacher, a corporate graphic designer and art director, a freelance illustrator and fine artist.

I have done many commissioned House Portraits and Architectural Renderings working for real estate agents and custom home builders. Also, many commissioned pet portraits.

My portfolio is diverse because I’ve always embraced the challenges of trying new mediums, styles, and techniques. My painting is all about light, shadow, and lost and found edges. I believe a good painting has a little mystery, some vagueness, and some fantasy. Recently, I have been painting more abstractly and I’m excited to see where I can take it.
